Community guidelines Our mission is to give you, awesome students of the world, the power to share your knowledge with other students and peoples in a safe and fun place. To keep this well-oiled educational machine running smoothly, we've defined a set of Community Guidelines. These practices will help you understand what type of sharing (i.e. questions, answers, comments, and messages) is allowed on Vinaavidai, and what type of content is frowned upon and may be reported and removed. Our community is as diverse as it is intelligent and awesome, so please keep the “golden rule” in mind and be an outstanding citizen by always being kind, humble, and polite. Do your part to keep Vinaavidai a safe and welcoming community that encourages free thinking, sharing, and academic achievement.

Help Us Keep You Safe We ask everyone to play by the rules. Always be kind and respectful and report all content or behavior that appears to be inappropriate, suspicious, or abusive. Vinaavidai is all about being creative in terms of studying and social interaction; this is how you learn more with Vinaavidai every single day.
Remember the golden rule: Treat others the way you would like to be treated.
Encourage Other Users’ Good Behavior Be nice. Be respectful. Users should not make personal attacks or otherwise discredit other users or their work on Vinaavidai. They should be respectful and considerate and assume that other people on the site are also trying to make it a great source for learning. This means respecting different opinions, beliefs, and conclusions, trying to listen to and understand those you may disagree with, and encouraging others on the site to do the same.
Keep Your Account and Personal Information Safe
We do all we can in terms of protecting your privacy and private information, but we need your help! Do not share any of your personal information, including your name, age, address, phone number, email address, or school name (collectively, your Personal Information). Your Personal Information should never be included in your questions or answers.
Protect Your Intellectual Property
Our goal is to ensure that questions, answers, and comments do not discourage or intimidate other people on Vinaavidai. We strive for all content to be of high quality.
What happens if you break the rules?
Content that violates our Community Guidelines may be reported to and removed by Moderators and Admins and violations of this policy can result in a warning, comment blocking, or ban. If you wouldn’t want your parents to see it, don’t post it. If a user breaks the rules, they will typically get a warning first. However, if unacceptable behavior continues, users will be locked out of using Vinaavidai for various lengths of time depending on the severity of the infringement. Time locks range from 15 minutes to up to 2 days and, in serious circumstances, can be permanent. These blocks can be applied to all users. In serious cases, Vinaavidai has the right to delete a user account indefinitely. Now, go on, start asking, answering, learning, and, most importantly, have fun!
